i heard that those exercise will improve ur footwork reaction alot ..

i had done those exercise for 4 days a week and each days ,i do 15 minutes skipping ..

but i usually do the skipping pattern like this :

    jump-rope passes-jump-jump-rope passes-jump-jump and so on ..

is that way will improve my footwork ?

btw ,is it ok to do big exercise after eating ?or should i rest first ?

    if so ,how long ???

Im quite sure skipping will increase your fitness level and quicken you footwork by a little, but if you main aim is to improve your footwork, it is better to do shadowing instead of skipping so much.

Find a open space (using my garage) and draw a half court on the floor.(obviously if you can get a court then its great, but frankly, im not so rich:D)
Repeat footwork exercise (to the six points of the court)daily and you'll see improvement in your footwork in due time.

There's plenty of good guides and videos on the correct steps of footwork.
    I find http://www.badmintonbible.com/ very useful^^

P.S. And it isn't exactly good to do vigorous exercises after eating... best to let the food digest for at least 1~2 hours, preferably 3(from personal experience)

Awesome, I didn't know the Badminton Bible had videos. Oh wait...:D

If you're looking for what I've written on footwork, it's here: badminton footwork guide.

..as already mentioned, doing jump rope/skipping will help you more for fitness/cardiovascular than footwork.
You may also do them in number of sets or repetitions instead of how many minutes; i've heard some do 2000-5000 repetitions per day.
