    HELP!!
ok, i had posted an earlier thread regarding some pointers for purchasing a new racquet.
i've decided on either getting the Carbonex 20 or the Carbonex 20 Muscle.

Does anybody know how much the pricings are in Hong Kong right now?!

My friend is heading back on Wednesday, and I've gotta tell her by then which one I want.

Basically, the remaining factor is price now...before I decide.
    Can anyone help please????

    Cab 20 / Cab 20 MS

You can try ROSE SPORTS in Mongkok, prices when I was there a month ago were

Cab 20, hk$510 - around C$102. . . but I here Wan Kee has a sale on (posted by Kwun)

    Cab 20MS, hk $700 - around C$140

Don't go to the shoe stores that also sell racquets because it costs WAY more, like hk$900 for a Cab 20 MS (C$180)

    hey laurence =)

do you happen to know the exact address for Rose Sports?

and i was reading other threads on Cab20s in HK, and the prices were actually listed as being cheaper. the cab20 was only roughly HKD$400...CD$80. i can't exactly remember when that post was posted though....

    i've decided on the cab20 muscle :D :D :D

    i did some research and it's approximately HKD$700 -- CD$140 or so.

anyone disagree to that because they've gotta the latest scoop on HK prices (like, you live in HK :p )?
is the cab20 muscle actually more expensive? less expensive??

    regards,

    That expensive???

    I got my cab20 muscle (2UG4, BG65@20, 21 lb) about 2 months ago at www.badmintonsupplies.com (US site), for about $97 (racket + BG65 + labor + s&H). It will be like around CND $150.

I though in HK, that should be way cheaper than that price. If that's really CND$140, I would rather get it here, instead of trouble my friend to carry that from the other end of the earth. (kinda hard to carry a racket when travel that far...)

if i purchase the cab 20 muscle at one of the two stores here in Toronto that most people buy from, it would cost me 170
plus, my friend said it was totally ok.
i was gonna ship it over at first cuz she actually isn't the one purchasing the racquet for me...i have another friend who's very knowledgeable in this field back in HK...but i have trouble contacting him...
anyway, the friend who's heading back suggested she bring it back for me cuz she doesn't want me to ship it =)
    hehe
    =)

wow..you got it for that cheap?!?!
    lucky...>-<*

Yeah. That surprised me a lot. Most other US sites sales cab20 ms for over $120(USD). This sites sale this reacket really cheap and provide string and labor for free. I should have tried BG68Ti and BG85 (both also free). But I was "dumb" enough to stick with my BG65... :(

But if I purchase racket from there, both the string and labor are FREE!!! If I re-string it myself,I have to pay for the better string...

    Ok, cheap me... :D

    Badminton Supplies - Cab20MS

Wow, if I can pick-up a Cab20 MS for under US$100 with string and shipped, that is a great deal!

I looked at the website in the link, but I wasn't able to see the word 'Muscle' after Carbonex 20 in the pic . . . colors of the racquet looks the same though

I think I'll call them up monday to see if the price includes shipping and stringing. . . definitely better than buying in HK because for the same / lower price, you get a warranty in the US

    Re: Badminton Supplies - Cab20MS

Yeah. They put the wrong pic. My cab20ms is black+green. To me, good combo, since look like a mystery.

    Here's the price list:

    1. $90 = cab20ms (2UG4) + BG65 (actually, I tried, u can even choose BG85 or BG68ti for no extra) + labor

    2. $7 something for S+H

    3. Total u pay = $97 somthing...

Yeah. Mine look like this. Except, seems the real racket's color is darker. I guess it because too much light for ur pic.

    100% same.
