    Hi,

does anyone know a good method how to keep the raquet headheavy?
Always when I want to get a thicker grip I usuall wrapp a few yonex overgrips around it till I get my prefered gripp size. but therefore I lost the original feeling (AC102EX)

at the moment I wrapped my raquet with 3 of the grips but I actually want to keep the original specifications means that I want to keep its original feeling
(the weight doesn´t play such an important role for me ;) )

    For an better overview:
    raquet: TI-10 strung with BG 80 version: G3 4U
the original basic grip is still wrapped on the raquet.

ps: I would like to keep the original basic grip

should I look for other overgrips which are more thicker?
e.g. instead of 3; 1 or 2 overgripps which are thicker?

Firstly, let me express my awe in regards to your very big hands! Three layers of AC102EX over the original grip is really very big. Although I believe that you have mistyped 3UG4 as 4UG3 (please refer to your OT) as the Ti-10 doesn't come in 4U weights.

What you can do best is to replace your current racquet with the same model of the same weight but with a G3 grip size (or Ti-10 3UG3 for short). The G3 grip size is bigger than your current G4 while keeping the balance point of the racquet the same since the grip centre is more hollow to keep the same weight while making it externally bigger. That way you can just use two overgrips instead of three to keep the weight down.

Another thing you can try to do is to find those gauze grips used on tennis racquet grips. They are even lighter than the AC102EX but have the same "toughness" although they must be used with an external layer of overgrip. So from here you can stick to your G4 racquet and then wrap the gauze on the original grip to get a sufficient size then finish with a final layer of overgrip.

Lastly, a thicker overgrip will always weigh more than a lighter overgrip. The AC102EX is already the lightest (or least dense) overgrip in the market, from my experience.

Would taping a few inches of electrical tape at the top of the frame help?

Is there any 4U Ti10 available in the market? Or it is a 3U G4? :D

^ 2U/3U G4/G5 havent seen a G3 (but I wouldn't doubt that they dont exist since the first gen were distributed worldwide)

OP, if you drop by a hardwood flooring distributor go through their opened packages and steal some super thin underlay that are in the packaging and apply a over grip ;)

IDK bout you, but I tie a 1lb stone to the head of my racket. This takes care of the problem of it being not headheavy enough
