    Hey guys,

I've had arm and chest pain recently and I went to the doctor. He said that it was growing pains (I am 17 btw) and could be related to me playing badminton. It's been about a month and I am still sore ( I am sick with a cold also). Usually I don't worry about arm soreness but this time my left arm and back also hurts ( I am right handed). I'm kind of paranoid with all those teen athletes having heart attacks in the news. I've had a check up recently and my doctor said I was fine. Also I just can't stop to rest since my season has started. So anyways do you guys have any comments on this and should I visit my doctors again?

    Thanks,

You don't have to be sorry about the post. But you ought to see your doctor again.
I doubt that this is angina from a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (one of those collapsing teen athlete things). But you really ought to see someone who can hear the whole story and lay hands on you.

    Best of luck.:)
