I know the end of the season is approaching but are there any clubs playing on tues or thurs nights. Looking for a decent game but with no commitees etc

We play throughout the summer and visitors are welcome. No pressure for men to join - we're looking for women at the moment to balance the club.
And our league has just made the switch to feathers, so there'll be some experimentation this summer as we figure out which are the best shuttles we can afford to use!

Tomsk, what league do your club play? When you say there's "no pressure for men to join", do you mean you're just after women to join or can anybody pop down for a game?

We play in the South Manchester Badminton League

Anybody can come down for a game, but they need to contact our visitors rep. first. PM me for contact details.

Our club currently has 25 men/16 women so we're looking for women members at the moment. That doesn't mean that we would turn away any man who would make a good member - we don't recruit on ability alone.

I live in Salford, do you live anywhere near? after next week I will be in manchester Sun - Thurs. I play almost everyday, anytime I have free haha! I'm in the Salford University team, I hope I can put up a good game hehe!
