hey, anywhere to play during Xmas break in Toronto? i would go to Westmount/Rosemount, but its closed during that time..
i'm not a provincal player but i'd like to play somewhere with intermediates..
so if you got any places near Markham gimme a shout. Please include skill level, shuttlecock situation and dropin fee. thanks!

    !

Honestly mike, I've been thinking of playing, since I'm just starting out, I wanna be able to practise more, and xmas would be a great time.
But besides YMCA, I dunno any other place :(
Good subject, I need to know answers too !

St Pauls have been mentioned before. $5 drop-ins near downtown. I've never been though, but I'm going soon, as soon as exams are over. No idea if they'll still be open though.

    YMCA

think I mentioned this in another place

    YMCA near "us"
would be the one at Scarborough Town Center
Or the one at North York (sheppard and bayview), right next to the subway station, across from that bayview mall thing

    guest pass is $12
for membership u need credit card number or a void cheque, I dun have either so I couldn't get info on that

think in this site, theres schedules, including the holiday schedules (which means extended badminton time at north york)
    http://www.ymcatoronto.org/
however the site is down, so I can't check whether its the right site or not

its around 2 - 3 hours at north york
and around 2 hours for stc

u just pay, get in, drop into a gym which is set up for badminton at that time, and u play

I might go there for xmas, last time I went there (north york and stc), I didn't go in, so I can't tell u much about it
