Bahrain is a good track for Ferrari. I can't see that changin this year. Just looking forward to seeing Hamilton being Crowned Champion again by the end of the Season.
at last....... between LH and JB, which do you prefer now? arggh..... Schumacher is back helping his good old friend. where should i head to? the prancing horse or this old horse?
I like the prancing horse more than Schumi. That is, Massa and double world champ Alonzo. But Schumi is not one to be discounted... JB and LH? Ahh, this is a tricky one. Personally, I like Jensen and honestly I never thought he'd win one in his entire career! Wonder who will start elbowing who in this team up! So many champs (not to mention multiple champs) in this edition of F1, very engaging! Until a few races into the season, we'll never know for sure who's got the more (if not most) reliable car!
Hamilton is a much better driver than Button IMO, and he's certainly the more aggressive and more entertaining to watch. It's between him and Alonso for the championship title, so it's really just a question of which of them has the better car. I'd love to see Kobayashi do well too, as he's another really entertaining driver to watch, but driving for Sauber he doesn't stand much of a chance. I'll also tip Nico Rosberg, purely because he was born the same day as me
Way to go Alonso! Hope by the end of seson he's gonna be triple world champ! A 1 -2 finish for the prancing horse! LH's Mercedes is no laggard eitherl. JB should be better the next few races. Yahoo, very nice indeed for the start of season!
26-28 March 2010 Qantas Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne. will the red horses finish in 1-2 again? will the lucky Hamilton finish the race?
Probaly & definitely. I notice in the press Alonso was happy with the current rules & regs & said other drivers were overreacting......he would do though as he has the fastest car!!!!!!!
RedBull is not quite like Redhorse! Ferrari should do very well in Melbourne. Alonso has better skills to maneuver under the new rules (that's the way he was used to in his younger years) and a Ferrari 'make' that is far better than the rest of the competition thus far. LH, JB and Schumi has to extract every bit of experience to come up big with a competitive car (I won't say lesser car becasue Mercedeses are no sissies!).
ok, back to your answers. definitely? okay. hopefully the lucky can score one or couple or points then.
By the sounds of the below I think Lewis seems to be pretty quick this weekend!! He probably has a few points already too.......on his licence! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8589435.stm Incidentally Lewis was quickest in First practice, although it was disrupted by weather, so I am not reading too much into it.
Well I got up ealry to watch the 2010 Australian GP. Well worth it too! Here are my Highlights: - The rain before the start shook the pre race build up - Great starts for Vettel, Massa & Hamilton, Bad starts for Button & Alonso - Hamilton builds on his start to overtake Button, Button takes a punt on Slick tyres (everyone started on intermediates) -Button appears to have made an ero as he slides off, but in the final two sectors of the lap he is far quicker. Everyone bar Webber pits next lap -Hamilton loses a few places in the pits due to traffic, and it turns out Button played a blinder going in early, he is 2nd with Vettel still in the lead -In an incredible run Hamilton takes Webber, Massa (twice), Rosberg -Button moves to first with Vettel retiring -Mclaren inexplicably call him in to the pits to change tyres when he is trying (and almost suceeding) to take Kubica, which would leave them in a 1-2 - After Webber & Hamilton pit they are far quicker, but not enough to catch up 25s & overtake 3 people again (why did they pit them?) -Once they catch up to Alonso Web & Ham's tyres get into the graining phase. Alonson, Massa & Jubica tyres worn, but past the graining phase -Hamilton attempts to take Alonso, Alonso locks up and defends well, but Webber seems not to have noticed & slams into the back of Hamilton, taking them both out. Webber needs a new Nosecone, Hamilton rejoins 1.Button 2.Kubica 3.Massa 4.Rosberg 5.Alonso 6.Hamilton Overall, Mclaren made the mistake. Last year when tyres grained & slowed you changed them, as you use it to refuel & alter strategy. This years with no fuel stops you need to think differently. Hamilton was still faster than Kubica & all the train of Mas/Alo/Ros/Ham/Web hadn't stopped. Even if his tyres were graining, so were the others & if they don't stop, you don't, the worst he could be was 3rd (status quo). Yes ham caught them back up, but by that time the tyres were in graining phase again & not enough speed gain to win. I worked out in my head that Schumacher, who changed tyres twice also, ws 1s/lap quicker than the leaders on new tyres. Even assuming Ham would be 0.5s quicker than that, it is only 1.5/lap and he had 24 laps left. Taking into account 1 in lap, he had to make up nearly 30 secs & overtake 4 people (one who had hot tyres & the fastest car) to move up 1 place. This risk doesn't make up the number to me. He did well though, to take webber when they were both on fresh tyres. Firplay to Button though, he had his luck & clear air, but he hit good lap times consistenly despite the tyres wearing.
