From what i know of the only difference is the way the writting on the racket shaft is. Like when you look down a normal Yonex shaft in your right hand the writting is the right way round but in your left it's the other way round (if that makes any sense). Like if you buy one of the Carlton Rasmussen range the writting is the left way round as Peter Rasmussen was left-handed.

    Thumbs up

badminton I, currently, only play using my right hand

pool/billiards, I'm ambidextrous I think I need to train my left hand more for badminton

I know someone who is a lefty but plays badminton with her right hand. She said she often looses the racket when she plays lefty. All other things she does it lefty.

    Here's another lefty

In my club there are quite a lot of lefties AT THE TOP...
Sometimes we play a MD with 4 lefties

Don't you all agree that lefties have that little extra touch right-handed people don't have

    So I guess you're left-handed ?
I haven't noticed much difference between the two...

IM left handed and its awesome because when players try to hit to my backhand, they forgets or does not notice that im left handed and that makes it a lil bit easier.

Yeah, I'm right-handed, and I do agreee - lefties are hard. It's so easy for a guy to play by instinct, and just hit the shuttle in the 'usual way.' I got beat real bad when I played like that yesterday - 15:2. *sniffles* It was the club champ though...

    weird story actually ...

I use to be be left handed when I was very little . But my parents wanted me to be right handed ( for what reasons I don't know ) . So whenever I use to use my left hand , my parents would correct me and now it has become reality -- I am right handed .

yayayaya, how come parents like their children to use right hand?? Some of my frens were left handed when they r young, but they were forced to use right hand.

I'm not sure really ... but my mom told me that it was because there are more right than left handers and most things were made for right handers etc . ( like in my school , you can only find a left baseball glove that's made for right handers . So if you are a left handers , then you don't have a glove ) .

30 years ago here in Belgium school forced you to use your right hand. Often that even went together with corporal punishments if you refused to stop using your left hand.
