Basic Stretching Basic Body Anatomy Basic Strength Training Basic Power Training Basic Flexiblity Training Common Type of Injuries. First Aid for Injuries.
fa sho. I keep injuring my shoulder and my wrist because I put off stretching as well as a good amount of warming up time.
So . . . am I missing something here? Where is the content of this entire thread? All you did is list everything you are supposed to talk about, but you forgot to talk about it. lol
I have been playing badminton for last years. I have done many thing to avoid Injuries, but last month I got injured while playing a shot. I am facing lot of pain in my elbow. Doctor is suggesting surgery for me. I think it is end of my career, I don't know that I can play again or not.So please everyone avoid Injuries as much as you can do.
See if you can get a second opinion from another doctor before having surgery. Either way, I hope you're able to play again. Good luck.
It would be very useful to have examples of the above and to make this a sticky when it is rolling. I think most of us get to the court and don't do a good warm up, and I would bet that most of us have had injuries in the past - some worse than others down to not warming up... it's a great idea..
Do more stretching on elbow b4 and after the game (i.e. not just warm up, but warm down as well). I'm having elbow problem also, but recovering well as now I am doing more stretching (especially after my game).
