    kwun, would that be alright?

    since bc is already established with all the ready members (almost every corner of the world) just why not?

    every member contribute something by pay-pal, there will be some fund to hire somebody to do something..

    seriously, anybody agrees?
    Such a club iwill be too diffused and what will be its objective anyway?
    Look at soccer, we have MU Fans Club, Bayern Munich Fan Club, and they objective is focused on their club, to cheer, support, have a dialoge with, and sometimes to fund the club too. Likewise in badminton, but it must be specific to a national team. There is no such thing as a world nation in badminton to compete for the TC and UC.
    Malaysia and Indonesia have large groups of organized supporters for the ir country. They and their leaders could be the nucleus of a national fans club.

    If you want to you can send a copy to every member of the BAM council, every state badminton association, everyone in Bukit Jalil, and every player in the national squad plus all the coaches, with a copy to the media. This way you won't miss many of the intended audience.

    if thats the case, can have:
    bc malaysia badminton fan club,
    bc indonesia badminton fan club or even
    bc taneepak badminton fan club (i.e. you are the sponsor).

    seriously anybody think its possible?

    Don't you think a SC MU Fan Club (for soccer central Manchester United Fan Club) will look out of place? No MU fan will join.

    .
    Yes, we can see how serious some BCers are when we talk about BAM.
    Let us generate some points here to make comparisons;

    Let us talk about BC first;

    Question 1: Can a person tell BC what to do without registering at BC?
    Answer 1: No. We need to be registered at BC before we can post at BC.

    Question 2: Would a person start a BC Fan Club to tell BC what to do?
    Answer 2: Probably no. Why not join BC and talk about BC between us at BC.

    Now, let us talk about BAM;
    * Isn't BAM consist of State Associations?
    * Aren't the State Associations consist of registered members (players and non-players)?

    Therefore;
    * Is it not possible for some Malaysian BCers to become registered members in their State Associations, and then voice their opinions through their State Associations?
    * After becoming registered members in their State Associations, is it not possible to become committee members of their State Associations?
    * Would BAM listen to their State Associations first, or would BAM listen to a MAS Badminton Fan Club first?

    Let us talk about these points first before we start a MAS Badminton Fan Club.

    The question is, whether Fuzzy will be selected if they fail to capture the Indian Open title. If they are STILL chosen, even the most hardcore believers who think that BAM is impartial and choose players on merit because there is no evidence will also be swayed by their stand. So, I think if Fuzzy doesn't win, they are out of the WC...for good. And we know if they meet Hoon/Ong or the 2nd seeded Indian MD they will have about 40-60 at the title..

    i knew it was that easy or possible, otherwise someone would have started it.

    but if one looks at it at all angle, there could be a possibility somewhere, let's figure it out together!

    Lest we forget, close to 90 % of the BAM Council delegates are from the various state badminton associations. The BAM is the parent association of all the state and other badminton associations in Malysia. All the VPs, and there are 11 of them, are state representatives. In addition the state associations make up 100% of the Council members, and there are 12 of them. Only the patron, the president, the deputy president, the hon. secretary and treasurer are not state representatives.
    So what are you waiting for? Get a seat in your state badminton association first and then you can really do something. But will your state association vote for you? If you are good and can contribute, why not?
    But this is the BAM and the state associations. Maybe all those badminton players or ex-players do not come up to your expectations, so what do you do? Vote them out and vote yourself in, only to repeat the same thing and in turn others who follow will vote you out?
    Therefore a Malaysian Badminton Fan Club is an entirely different animal, not sharing the same dna as those state and national associations. They can see things a bit differently and they would complement BAM and state badminton associations.
    Limsy, Ants, and others, why not do something meaningful?
    For a start, how about digging up the mystery about that "missing" $900,000 of what was supposed to be ING's sponsorship contribution? Alas, it was not to be because that deal had an instant death.
