Ok at the moment i admit i dont have the proper badminton shoes but its only now that my foot have started gettin a bit sore but thats probably cos before i didnt run as much etc...

Basically, After playing sometimes my left achilles heel feels sore? And the bottom of my foot (i read something about flat feet?) And i generally get really sore blister like pains after a game... :(

Lastly :p , this has been happening for a long time but only got worse this year... When im stretching and i bend my right knee and put a bit of my weight on it.. it starts hurting and really bad but i straighten it out and its alrite.. Do you think its worth going to the doctors or is it just that im probs too overweight >.< ¬¬

Proper shoes might help your foot blisters.
But since you are going to the doctor anyhow (*and you ARE going to the doctor about your knee, right?*) you can ask about your feet then.:)

The NHS is a pretty good system. You might as well use it for something as potentially worrisome as a bad knee.

Hi pandaman i suggest you to buy a knee guard when you are playing:D
Cause i hurt my knee once before and it was damm pain so i think you better be careful and do some leg warm up
    before playing:)

There are proper shoes and socks for a flat footed person. You should get one of those to avoid getting blisters and achilles pain. Im not sure if running shoes will do. I know addidas and mizuno has one of those equipments which determines the right shoes for you.

About your knee, its advisable that you go and see a doctorso that you'll know the problem. That happened to me ones, every time I applied pressure on my left knee (like going up the stairs), it hurts like hell. The doctor said that I have arthritis due to over use. If you're gonna start strengthening your knees, then you should start with stretching, lunges, and squats. Thats what they made me do during my therapy 3 months ago. My left knee is okay now.

I think your all your problems could be solved with orthodics (but im not sure so check with a professional) as much of the mechanics in your leg relies on your foot arch, and as you gain muscle strength (which is quite normal through months of badminton play) the pressure on the joints will be higher causing more pain. I;m not a specialist but thts what mmine told me :p, and i still reccommend you go to see one :D:D:D

I have also experienced last month an ankle pain... I was just lucky that it turned out a little sprain and no fracture or something. Is there anybody knows how many days or months does the pain of sprained ankle will last? Almost a month now but there is still pain. The doctor told me that I have nothing to worry about.. Do I need to have second opinion from another doctor?? Please anyone could share suggestions?
