I've heard that lower tension means more power due to the trampoline effect. I feel however that a slightly higher tensioned racket hits harder or at least sound better. So is it always lower tension=more power or is there some sort of equilibrium for each individual. I'm currently using 24lb Bg 65 and i would say it feels ok. I tried hitting with an arcsaber 10 with 22-23lb and i don't feel the shot. Another question, should i try out 25lb on a sotx woven 8 or stick with 24
    Thanks

There are a ton... and I mean a ton, if threads on this subject where many people discuss the physics involved to try and explain, from their own point of view, how string tension affects power.

In the end go with what feels right for you.
