    OUR YOUTH BADMINTON PROGRAM AT TROUT LAKE COMMUNITY CENTER NOW IS RELOCATE TO RENFREW COMMUNITY CENTER DUE TO RENOVATION.

    OUR NEW SCHEDULE HOUR IS TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL for youth from 6-17 year old: Starting from April 6, 2010

    3:40-4:10 YOUTH BEGINNER BADMINTON CLASS
    4:15-5:00 YOUTH INTERMEDIATE BADMINTON CLASS
    5:00-5:45 YOUTH ADVANCE BADMINTON CLASS
    5:45-6:30 YOUTH ELITE BADMINTON CLASS

    Once students register in the class, we have 2 courts reserve for students to play additional 1 hour of playing time free of charge. So students will use the time during the lesson to work or drills, skills, footworks, and strategy and tactics, then students will allow an additional 1 hour to play extra with classmates in a competitive fun game environment. Birds will be provided and we can let students borrow a racket free of charge until they have their own.

    The program will be coach by Richard professional badminton coach with more than 23 years of experience playing competitive in the game of badminton. Richard is a certified provincial coach who will able to help your kids to learn the proper skills and mindset to help your kids to move to the next level. Having a proper coach at the right stage of development will definitely help the kids to reach to a higher potential level at a later age.

    For a self-assessment of the level, please contact register at (604) 338-8926 or visit us on the first day to hit with Richard for a few minutes to see which group will best fit for your kids. Richard has been helping over 300 badminton students and taught over 50 advance students, so you can be next.

    Whether you want to join the high school team or you want your kids to be a top national player in the future, this is the right place to start. If you are serious about playing competive badminton, this is the right program for you. We don't baby sit kids in our program. We are here to train kids to play proper badminton so they can have fun and enjoy playing the sport for the rest of their lives.

    Badminton Session 2 begin May 18th, 2010

    Hi Everyone,Session 2 will begin in May 18th 2010.

    Class Schedule:

    Youth Beginner Badminton program - begin every tuesday from 3:50-4:20 pm - age 6 to 14 year old.
    Youth Intermediate Badminton Program (8-15 year of age) - 4:25-5:10 pm - age7 to 17 year old.
    Youth Advance Badminton Program - begin every tuesday from 5:15-6:00 pm - age 11 to 18 year old.

    Please register at Renfrew Community Center 604-257-8388.

    Program will run for 5 week sessions. We only take in maximum 8 students per class.

    To register, please come to the lesson program and meet Richard in person or register at the renfrew community center.

    If you know of anyone who are interested in the program and want to improve their badminton skills, we would like to thanks for your referral.

    Students will allow to play additional 45 mintues free of charge. We will let students borrow a racket free of charge if students don't have a racket yet. Birds will also be supply.

    We will also offer badminton Summer Camp at Renfrew Community in the Month of July and August 2010. We will offer 4 summer camp. Each summer camp is one week long. If you wants your kids to learn and improve badminton quickly this is a great way to do it. Please contact the center or Richard for more information.
