    Jonas,

My name is Desmond Ngai. I am 17 years old. My user name on PLAYBADMINTON.COM is "brocklesnar". I was wondering if you could assist me on something.

I currently looking into options of training in another country for badminton for two months during the summer because I want to hopefully play for my country's national team one day. Where is the best place to train in Denmark?

I play on the Ontario Badminton Association Junior High Performance Training Center in Toronto, Ontario, and I have trained with people like Tony Gunawan (trained with him in late August of 2002).

Both Tony Gunawan and my current coach say that my IBF potential is in doubles, so I want to preferably focus on doubles training.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and attention to my post.

    Sincerely,

    Desmond Ngai

    Clubs!!

    Hi Desmond!!

You can try asking Michael Kjeldsen fra IBA International Badminton Academy in Denmark if has some room for you in two months.

Where will you stay in Denmark?? It´s best to live near Copenhagen because the best clubs in Denmark are stiuated here.

Another option is to contact the Danish Badminton Association and get their help to communicate with some of the clubs that might be interested.

    Hope you can use this!!

    Jonas

    contact information

    Hi Jonas,

Is there a way to contact you via phone, e-mail or mail? I have some personal questions (not personal on your side but I would like to ask you some things about badminton and my current situation).

Thanks again for all your help.

    Desmond

Here's the link to IBA http://www.intbadaca.dk but don't see anything options for two/three months. Options listed are a) One month trial for Kr8,000 (applicable if you sign up for the other two options; b) 6 months for Kr30,000; and c) 12 months for Kr50,000

All fees are not inclusive of accommodations. BTW, Michael is proposing to host 1-day clinics across N. Am. this summer with Peter Gade. Might be something that your club or local association would want to do. Cost is US$6,000/day.
