I'm thinking about buying a Ti-10 from this guy online. He offered me $80 and says it has never been used. He also has 6 other yonex racquets that are high end and the price is only around $60-$80. My question is how would I be able to know if the Ti-10 is fake or not. What numbers should I be expecting to see on the serial code. (Its the purple Ti-10) Thanks. -Samuel
Dangerous offer. There's no way to tell 100% from the serial code, you need to see it first. But for a Ti-10 that isn't outrageous, but it does sound too good. Personally I wouldn't trust it.
He says its never been used. I asked him for a picture of the serial code but he only told me that he got it in China and it was made in China. I might go to his house and see it for myself but how can I tell if it's fake or real?
LOL sorry. Well he said he got them in China and now he messaged me saying that the racquets werent made in Japan. Are Yonex racquets made anywhere else besides Japan?
middle to high end rackets are all made in Japan while as the low end rackets are made in Taiwan and I believe the some really low end models are now made in China.
He should have told you that right off the bat... obviously he was trying to fool you then realized he couldn't with all the questions.
