i am going to meet up with Phu/Stella today in the new Bintang. they have been putting up the courts and i was also told they are almost done. they had some delay in the construction here and there.

the bathroom structure is still being worked on. the courts mats are pretty much done, the custom made standards are done (and very nice!), they have to lay the between court carpet which should only take a day to complete.

the lighting is awesome. very very bright. the under-layer of the court is suspended wood, same as Bintang SSF, i have jumped on it and it is nice and soft to the knees. (though it is stiffer than Campbell which some people claim is too soft).

there are 5 rows of courts, the middle 3 rows have tons of sitting/resting space in between, and the side 2 rows are relatively more cramped.

Phu & Stella says they are aiming for end of March.

I heard its supposed to open on April 18th but there haven't been any announcements so it looks like it'll be further delayed

last i heard it was 4/16.

i guess at least now that we have more definite date, the opening should be imminent.
