    Hi all,

I've checked out the product reviews of the Carlton T900 and the Hi-Qua Hummingbird ... but thought I would ask for opinions here as I am not that well-versed in the realm of shuttle selection.

Which would you recommend for recreational play? Also, would these shuttles play well outdoors?

    Thanks!

HiQua HummingBird is cheap. The promotion is buy 2 get 1 free. Therefore, u can pay $12 USD for 3 tubes (18) nylon birds. www.hiquasports.com

However, HummingBird is a little bit heavier than regular nylon birds, so, my suggestion is go for "Slow" instead of "Medium" or "Fast".

If u would like to play outdoors, maybe HiQua HummingBird (Med) is a better choice. My previous post assumes that u play in a gym.

    Thanks for the info!

Since the Hummingbirds are a little heavier...I'm assuming that the T900's would be too light for playing outside?

I just compared HummingBird with other brands I ever tried, such as Yonex Mavis 300, ProKennex, etc.

I can't say about Carlton T900, since I never tried it before.
