New grip from karakal? DUO
On ebay, there is a seller with karakal PU super DUO grips, they look like two grips stitched together down the middle. The seller says they are brand new in, does anyone know anything about them, or tried them?

I guess the best grips I've tried are the ones i dont really notice. What i mean is... you really notice the grips that start to come apart or feel weird. The last one i got was a Pointfore grip, it was pretty nice. Didn't cause me any problems... and what more can you ask from a grip? it's just a grip:-) get a grip!

For towel grip users in the UK:
You can order a 20m towelling grip roll from Ashaway (www.ashaway.co.uk) for £14.10 including VAT. That's about a quarter of the price you'd pay for single towel grips!
Order two and you don't have to pay delivery (£15 limit for free delivery).

Is there a way to get the original grips? I would like to get a couple of Armortec 800 grips, they are very nice. I think I've seen original muscle power grips as well.
If you need a close up pic of the 800 grip, you can go here

I no longer use clin-wrap (food wrap) to pre-wrap the handle before putting on an overgrip.

Shrink wrap.. isn't that the thing they use for r/c batteries? like you heat up the plastic to mould into the racquet grip. Is it the same thing you use? hmm.. that really preserves the wooden grip. hey post some pics so that I can copy your thing! hehe..

Why would you pre-wrap the handle before putting on an overgrip??? Isn't overgrip supposed to be wrapped around the original grip(replacement grip)???I no longer use clin-wrap (food wrap) to pre-wrap the handle before putting on an overgrip.

wow
i jsut figured out that there is no poit to get grip now when u have new racquets because the new kinda grips are so nice, and better than a lot of grips u can buy in stores... well the grip im refering to are the yonex grips that comes with the racquet. the grip from my armortec 500 seems <---- SEEMS to be better than other grips for sale in stores, so i think depending on what your racquet is, ( how new it is) you will not have to purchase the grip..at least not to purchase yonex grips because they arent really good... well this is my opinion. ...
neways gotta go ...in class right now

There are lots of grips has back tapes.....so if you don't use a slim wrap to protect the grip underneath it, it will destroy the grip below.

At £1 cheaper per grip I use http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MEWN:IT from ebay and the grips last me the same length of time as the Karakal 1's i.e. about 1-2 weeks

I use Prince or yonex super grap. I prefer the prince though because it is slighly tackier and I find it a little more cushiony
