Did you just put one layer? Yonex Super Grap is just over grip so it shouldn't make it that FAT. I think that's as thin as it's going to get.

Karakal Peachy overgrip is thinner than the Yonex, and has a nice peach-skin feel to it. I have two on my MP99, gives it a very nice feel that doesn't get sticky or slippery.

I'm in the UK so no idea about availability in Canada... I paid 3.99 for a pack of 3 grips from www.centralsports.co.uk - they do ship internationally if you really can't find them anywhere else!

Can someone explain something to me:

What exactly is the Yonex GrAp? Is it the normal grip or is it some sort of special grip? I saw it on the website but I have never seen this kind of grip before, those that looked like cellophane tapes.

Most of those that we get here in Malaysia are 'folded'. Is the Yonex Duraplus, VibraTec, AeroTec etc a Grap? (my guess is that, it's not)

A few years ago, I did use DUNLOP, not sure if you guys have heard of it before but it was good. The racquet practically 'sticks' to your hands!

Haven't seen any Dunlops for the past few years, I wonder if they've stopped manufacturing them?

I don't know what kind of definition you're looking for but Grap is just a name. It is a super long grip made for tennis as well and it's very sticky and tacky at first. But as you play alot, it wears off and you can burn through the grip easily because it is really thin.

it's a replacement grip. that is why it is kinda thick. you might be referring to an overgrip. and yes, yonec aero tec is also a variant of the yonex grap tec i was saying.

Default Something similar to towel grips...

Hi guys! I searched the threads and read through so many replies about the topic but I still cant decide! I would like to change to new grips since towel grips smell and look bad after less than a week of use since I have pretty sweaty hands! What grips can you guys recommend that would work better than a towel grip but not smell as bad after a few days of use? (did I mention that I have sweaty hands/palms? ) I hope I can find the right grip this time! Thanks in advance!

Default For the ones with sweaty hands/palms!

    *kick this topic*

I have very sweaty hands, the grip that suits me very well is the Toalson Tournament or the Pete Sampras from Wilson. The Toalson is a little bit thicker so more durable.

But the grip is perfect, the wetter it gets the more tackier it gets!

I still use Yonex Towel Grip on one of my rackets :-)
To keep it clean, I wash my hand before playing, keep my hand clean (ie. no McDonalds, no Dunkin Donuts ) during break-time and I dry the grip (using hair dryer) after playing. Then I cover the grip with a small plastic bag.
