lez c recently i added another AT500 to my rackets,
so i have 1 AT500 with towel grip (black) and my other AT500 with Yonex SUper grap (White)

you guys hav probably never heard of this gripbut i use the 'RAB zenith' grip. its like the karakal pu grip but nicer to hold because its a bit less sticky and more padded underneath. Having used this grip all other grips now feel uncomfortable to me(except towel grips but more of that later). THe only place that seem to stock this grip is my badminton club so i'd be surprised if any of you have ever tried this grip before.

Towel grips are nice but the problem with these is that after a couple of hours of use it turns hard and needs replacing. So it ends up being costly

I am using Super Grap for my Iso 30VF and Ti-10..After the grip wears out for my Ti-10, I am using Mesh grap.

for the last little while, i've completely stripped all the grip, and use only 1 layer of super grap applied right onto the wood. i like it more and more, as i use it.
i think its time to invest in a reel of 30, of supergrap, since it wears out much quicker now.

So far, I found out that this Wilson Pro-Overgrip suited me well. Very Comfort.

I found out the Karakal Super PU Grip give me a very hard feel eventhought it mention soft feel.

At the end, I suffer blister for my right thumb.

I use the new Victor grips on my Singles racket (browning ti-75 oxylite) and Yonex Supergrap on my doubles (Cab-30ms) Its only like this out of luck, during a match my grip became awful to use so i ripped it off and the only grip around was the Victor stuff which turned out to be really good. However i kept my supergrap on Cab as it looked better lol.

I'm new to the forum, and also to badminton in general, I was wondering if someone could direct me to a place where it gave me instructions on how to put a grip on? And also, what is the difference between a grip, a grap, and an overgrip?

imho super grap still suits me the best, well actually i really liked it when it was new, then it started kinda tearing apart after 8-15 hours of baddy and then it looked really bad. But if ur gonna buy super grap GET THE RED ONE!!!! remember Red for victory!

grap is just a term use by manufacturer like armortec.
overgrip mean another grip over the factory grip or over the 1st grip.

I will suggest you to try it out to see which way you like the most. I like the thin over grip like YY SuperGrap to put over my existing grip. I saw player who wrap and replacement grip over the existing grip. Search this forum and you will see many different pro and con of each kind of grip and how people wrap their grip.

grip is a personal choice. I'm still counting on the number of variation that I have seen to date.

However, i dont think i remember seeing any pros playing doubles using towel grips. Have anyone else seen this before?

I would say that the ultimate grip for badminton racquet is Karakal PU Super Grip... This grip have the tacky feeling which gives better gripping!!! The hard or soft feeling depends on the way you wrap the grip...

The problem with synthetic grips is their durability in terms of tackiness. Pros have an advantage in using it for singles or doubles. And the good thing is that they are given free grips!. Towel grips are more durable , but it is not as sticky as the synthetic ones.

Cooler : Sigit Budiarto uses towel grips remember?

Hmmm, funny you should say towel grips are more durable. I find that PU synthetic grips last much longer. **shrug**

LOTS of pros use towel grips.
