Re: Rec. on Gripz
The Shvabrah grip is the best by far. All professionals use it. It absorbs different amounts of sweat and releases when thirsty. You might want to check out the grip, it is highly recommended worldwide. Good luck on your grip search, i know i wasn't disappointed when i ordered a box of these slammin' babies.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
Agree with karakal with reasonable lasting, RSL is even better but more expensive.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
Prince Dura-Tred (it's an overgrip). Lasting, tacky, absorbant. I've been through at least 10 brands. Nothing beats the Dura-Tred. It's actually a tennis grip, so it should be easy to find.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
i'm currently using yonex grap...
it wears too quickly...
and i want something more permanent... i'll try out "What a grip! Prince Dura-Tred, and karakal"
The first i'll try is "what a grip" ... if i cant find this.. i'll try to get "Dura-tred"...
I'll come back with results when i've tried them...

Re: Rec. on Gripz
Yep. Prince DURATRED is great stuff. Yonex Grap is garbage, shreds to quickly. Wilson Cushionaire is not bad either.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
the very best grip (by far) that i have ever used is Mizuno Xyst.
it is very sticky (if you like sticky), lasts very long, the stickiness stays after more than 8 months of use, and it stays sticky when moist/wet. the feel is also very good. it is a little soft, but not too soft to be mushy.
the only down side is it is expensive. HK$50 per grip.
i found it in Luxis in Hong Kong. i have never seen it sold anywhere else...
i have used so many other types, Yonex, Prince, Alpha, Fleet, you name it. none of which is as good as Mizuno.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
I'll second Kwun.
Some of those Mizuno grips are amazingly long lasting.
Using other brands is a problem because then I have to grip more tightly and then racquet manoevrebility is reduced. I got really sweaty hands.

Re: Rec. on Gripz
we don't have much grip selection in canada but i like dura tred very much with the same opinion as mag, durable, tacky, and shock absorbing.

Grips
Due to my massively sweaty hands, I had to switch to towel grips. My experience with even expensive Yonex grips hasn't been good. They wear out too fast due to low thread count and feel so thin. I can't find good synthetic grips that absorb the kinda sweat I have
. Anybody faced similar problems?

Re: Grips
First and foremost i have to ask u this! Does ur sweat run down from ur wrist and hands on to ur palm or Ur pam itself sweats in spite of wearing a wrist band! In case u hate to wear a wrist band then The Next best solution is Towel Grip!
Incase u hate Towel grip then The next Best solution is something called WHAT A GRIP! Try it!
Best of luck!

Re: Grips
okay...
I said i'd have a review for some grips...but so far i've only tried 2 types
YONEX WRAP
...Its good for the first 4hours of play... and then it shreds down to nothing!!!
Price duratred overgrip
This is the same size as the yonex crap...but its more durable, and more rubbery...
I find that combining the use of yonex crap as the first layer....and then duratred as the second layer...gives a very nice comfortable cushiony long lasting grip !!!
