Tensions from a hot country to a cold country
Hey guys,
I'm currently staying in Malaysia, but will be moving to San Francisco soon, and i heard that since Malaysia is a hot country, you should string a few pounds lower when i move to a colder environment...if not it will break easily.
Is this true?
My ideal string: BG80
Tension: 29lbs
thanks

yes and no... it doesn't matter what the heat is outside, it matters what it is inside where you're playing.
There is not much of a temperature range in which most people are comfortable in. The one thing is that AC might be more common here... not sure though.
