i think it was around 45-50 ish for shipping. I ordered like 4 rackets and a pair of shoes. He also charges a 6% paypal fee as well, keep that in mind when you are buying.

its racket price + ~10USD/racket for shipping. i think you misinterpreted the shipping cost to be CAD, instead of HKD :p

sohubuy is cheap(probably the cheapest online store for rackets) because SP, IP, TW rackets cost less since they are distributed in southern asia, which has a lower cost of living relative to Canada.

You definately interpreted it wrong. It was ~$50 shipping CAD for 4 rackets and a pair of shoes. So if we assume eerythinh was the same weight, shipping for each item would only be the cost + shipping. So in your case it would be $120 + 10 CAD.

I just bought from sohubuy. Shipping was around $35 for two rackets (MP Ltd) but it arrvied in 5 days (HK to Vancouver) so it's fairy quick. However make sure you can type in Chinese since little things that I asked for such as string and grip colour that was provided was not what I had requested. This could be due to communication problem, because I type in English and he replys in Chinese. Another minor thing is the racket cover included is not the original MP bag but a bag that says "World #1 in Badminton". I beleive its a genuine bag since I see people with that bag where I play. Overall I would buy again from sohubuy but only for items I can't find (or lot more expensive) in Canada

I did not choose but was quoted the price of $241 HKD, which was the price on the postal sticker so there was no up charging for postal fee. The service used was HK speed post/EMS with tracking. Overall the process was really simple and pain free, just email him any questions, replies are fast.

I have been buying rackets from this store for quite a few years now and I always get these sort of bags for mid/low end rackets. For high end rackets (ARC10, ARC9, NS9900...list goes on), you get the full length case that we usually see.

Yup makes sense. In Canada we get the matching bags regardless of high/low end but of course our rackets cost almost doube.

Did you see my post? They are 100% legit with very good (read fast!) service. What you do is pick the products that you want then email them. The rackets that I bought came with bg 80 strung. If you want to use your own stringer he will take off $20HKD per racket. Then he will quote you the total price, which you will need to pay via paypal. He will then send you the tracking number. You can trace through the Hong Kong postal website or in my case, the Canada Post website also works. The package came in a RSL box that was designed to ship rackets to prevent damage.

Please note it will be helpful if you find someone who can read Chinese since his responds contains Chinese words here and there. It was not a big deal for me since I can read.

Its definately worth since you can save more than $100 for items like arc10 or zslash.

Also for customs, they declared the racket value to be $360 HKD while it was really around $1000HKD so I didn't get any taxes/duties.
