So is the stage set for the return of Super Dan? We have some minor hiccups when he lost to CHJ in EA, but according to reliable sources, Super Dan think EA is not important...so no big deal...even he skipped MO and KO as he had enough SS, his lost in AE is due to LYB think that CHN would focus on TC and WC, Super Dan had too many AE, so he decided to give to BCL, but BCL failed....
In Swiss Open, after his defeat to old horse Pete Gade, we heard rumours that LYB would like Super Dan to play 2nd Single in Tc...how true is it???
so what is in store in New Delhi?? the results here will greatly shows the next directions of Super Dan.....

    .
LYB would like Super Dan to play 2nd Single in TC?:confused::confused:

Only LYB, LD and CHN team can answer this question.

IMHO, if LD is placed as the No.2 MS, it's an insult to LD's great skill/ability that LD has shown over the last few years.

If Lin Dan is back to his normal form, he will have a 96% chance of winning this.
4% is split between the other players...

If he doesn't win this, I don't know if I could still bring myself to say it is the start of his downhill...I still don't think so...

    .
If so, IMHO, LD and the CHN team want to have LD to be placed at a lower position for the 2010 Thomas Cup MS event.

everyone coming to play BAC in India will have to *atleast* be physically able to endure the hot climate in April. I remember LCW had food poisioning last time he had been to India. With temparatures in ~40C (104F), players must adjust to the climate first.

    40 degrees.. Very hot..
Indeed LD will have to face KT or Taufik in the final.

    the questions are
does he really have enough motivation to win this ? Is it really an aim for him ?
    What about Lyb's plans ?
    Is Ld in form ?

Why surrender a point by putting LD in second singles instead of first singles? Makes no sense to me.

At MS1, Lin Dan and his fellow MS have more than an even chance of winning each of their ties. By moving him back, at least one or probably two of the MS points would be compromised to the opposition.

Anyway, LD would almost surely have this in the bag, as long as he shows up .......

If the purpose of him to compete in this BAC is to secure the no.1 MS spot, how many pts does he need to secure it? Does he have to win the BAC title to clinch the no.1. MS spot for CHN's TC squad?..

before this t'ment, CJ has 68000 and LD has 64425, ie LD needed to score 3575 more to overtake CJ. i believe only the top 10 t'ments points scored toward the ranking, the 11th lowest points for CJ is 4900.
the winner for this int'l t'ment will get 4000, therefore doesn't matter if CJ win or not still doesnt count. and if LD win he will overtake CJ as CHN's MS1 for the TC.
i still think LD should stay as MS2 thus gives LYB more options.

..hmm, looks like CJ has a 3575 pts cushion...
Question is, how many pts will LD get if:
    a. he finishes as a Runner-Up?
    b. he finishes as a Semifinalist?
