I've been hitting some tennis serves because my friend got me (sort of) back into tennis. I only practice hitting serves. Will hitting tennis serves help my smashing power or improve my muscles? Thank you for your time in advance!

I have been playing badminton as long as I remember, and recently just started tennis

I notice that my serve in tenis, is much better in term of power compare to other people who already playing tenis for ages.

However if the question is whether practicing tenis serve can improve badminton smash, in my opinion yes, provided

    1. Dont do slice serve, it will ruin the badminton smash
    2. remember to use wrist power

it will help to improve powerwise, not technique wise

No, it won't. If you use as much wrist as you should in your badminton smash as your tennis serve, you will only strain your wrist, not strengthen it.
