:rolleyes:You know.. I LOVE this grip and I use it until it's tearing cuz I don't mind the softness. It doesn't get smelly or dirty for me. Since I was a towel grip user. BUT. Right when im done with the tacky side. I turn it ovr and it's tacky enough for probably 2 games . So those exytra 2 games adds up ;) Juts a trick for you guys

Wait, when you first apply the overgrip, should there not be a strip of tape on the side you put on the handle? If you take the grip off to flip it over, how would you take that tape off and reapply it to the other side? Would that tape not be as effective after you take it off? Also, washing the grips helps? I did not know that.

LOL, I start with the exact opposite side, that tape thingy at the end is pretty much useless xD.

Oh, I am not talking about the black tape that you put at the top of the grip. Shouldn't there be some kind of adhesive on the back of the entire grip to stick onto the handle?

Ya, the adhesive at the tip of the grip, it's not important at all =)

Personally I found that double side tape is more trouble than useful. When changing grip, it tears off the surface of the original grip.

I normally start backward, meaning start with the wider end at the handle bottom, and use that double side tape at the tip end to hold the grip tight, do not use the grip ending tape supplied.

As for prolong the life of the overgrip, I overlap 50% when put a new one on. After a few games, I take it off and put it on by wrapping around the other direction, and this time, I use the grip ending tape to hold the grip end. If looking at the handle bottom, the first time, I wrap counterclockwise, 2nd time clockwise. Found this is very efficient.

In addition to flipping it over to get more useful life out of it, you can also use rubbing alcohol to clean and renew the surface for tackiness.

prevention is better than cure ;)
for me, even though im short on budget, i don't think ill be bothered to flip the grip. If i were to do that, I'd rather wrap a new synthetic grip.

Oh! I totally misunderstood the entire idea! lol I thought you guys meant flipping the grip over as in putting the normal grip surface towards the handle instead of turning it upside down, putting the used part closer to the shaft instead of the bottom of the handle where you hold it most. lol I understand everything now!

for all the time/effort, water, alcohol etc put into cleaning grips it may end up cheaper buying new ones

yes, it is easy to buy new ones but takes more time to put on than to wipe it with alcohol

do you use 100% etoh or...

true that...9.90 USD for 7 karakal nano 60 grips...i think pretty much can last you for half a year! unless you have very dry and flaky hands...

Propyl alcohol ie. rubbing alcohol, not ethyl alcohol (which is ethanol).

well, for something that's only about US$1.00 each, I would say:

Save your time and just put a new one on!
