Hey, i'm looking to up grade from a nanospeed 900, to something better. I play mens doubles, and mixed doubles. I like my racket's string tension to be 26lb. I have a budget of about $120 dollars. Can anyone give me some advice? I'm looking to buy a racket before next week. Thanks!

That's about $200 USD, you probably need to tell us more about your playing style then just doubles... Try reading the reviews on different racket and see which one suits you best.

    haha.. 200! :O lol.

Alright well, for mens doubles, i like to play the back, i like to cross things alot, my smashes have great power, but not much angle. I have tight drops at the front.

I hope this helps. :) lol.

200: Not if you buy it off me! lol
As for another reccomendation, for a back smash based player, then something 900p esque would be nice. I heard many nice reviews on this apacs tantrum being an even balanced 900p? I think ti-10 would be nice though.

I don't always play the back, i do have to admit, even though i play mens doubles, i love to be on the defensive side, i believe i have a strong defense.

haha, maybe something else that might help you guys. :) lol.

if you guys could keep in mind i like playing with string tension at 26lb. So i think i would like a racket that is more in control than power.

are you from azusa socal ca ?

if you do go to san gabriel badminton club.
they have ns8000 for 170 i think. thats how much i got mine.
the racket is pretty powerful for a nanospeed line up, and they are balance.
but i see your budget is $120; im not too familiar with ns900 is that even exist ?
but yeah based on your play style ns8000 would be good. but for that price budget you might want to look other brand other than yonex, which is hard around here; you would have to purchase the racket online.

    3. Yonex Arcsaber 5
    4. Victor BS10

These should all be around $120

If you want to spend more then there's

    Arcsaber 10
    NS8000
    AT900p/t

    They are around $200
Btw, yonex nanospeed 900 doesn't exist, is this a different brand ? Otherwise it's fake.

Good or not it's still $160ish ... 800 makes more sense yeah :D.

Was going to say Carbonex 30 earlier and since I can't find anything else Yonex around the budget ... Carbonex 30? Although switching to oval @ 26 might be too much of an adjustment.

cant go wrong with carbonex but they are oval not isometric.

do you want stiffer racket ? cause i think the ns800 is relatively medium stiff.

Everyone is telling me NS8000, Carbonex 30, or MM88..
any one of these rackets suit my playing style?

What does the stiffness of the racket do? cuz the one i have is stiff, but i'm played with a not so stiff racket but i don't feel the difference.

    Panda Power Trinity 2.

$5 more dollar than your limit, but amazing performance.

I've never heard of this racket...
    will it fit my style?
i'm still leaning toward yonex rackets though.

$120 is not going to get you much in a Yonex, unfortunately.

Trinity 2 is moderately stiff, but with a high "kickpoint" due to a tapered shaft. Just means that it's very easy to generate power. Balanced to just slightly head heavy. Big sweet spot, probably due to the 40T graphite frame (normal frames use 30T), means you can string it a few pounds tighter than you normally do, to get better control. Aero frame for very fast swing speed. So, excellent power and excellent defence in one package! I find it amazing for mens doubles, where power and speed is critical.

Do a search on the forum. There are a few distributors in CA, and the master creator himself is in San Gabriel, I believe.
