So the first racket I bought ever had bg 70 pro with it [25lbs] and they lasted over half a year. Then I got bg 80 [25 lbs]and it broke in few hours on the first day. Next was bg 65 [25 lbs]and then it broke again in around 3 weeks. Now I have bg 70 again [24 lbs]... it's weird that the most durable string broke in 3 weeks (popped right in the middle too)
mishitting the shuttle, as well as hitting off centre will contribute to the strings breaking quickly. I am suprised at your BG80, mine lasted 4months at 24lbs Is it the same stringer every time ?
because it is the most durable strings. it falls under the "durability" category unlike the bg80. but you gotta hit hard for the 70pro make some sound.
Yonex themselves have been known to recommend this stuff for plastic shuttles, so even they acknowledge that it's their most durable offering. Anything in a yellow packet is in the durability class; blue is for repulsion and red for hitting sound (a very odd categorization, IMO).
