Could anyone check if RSL classic in malaysia has "goose feathers" written on the tube. The RSL classic i´ve been rying has felt suspiciously like duck-feather shuttles (felt more heavy than goose feather shuttles). I was told RSL classic was supposed oto be RSLs top grade shuttle?? The Yonex rep told me RSL partly suing duck feathers, that why they do not print "goos feathers" on the tubes here?!?! /Twobeer
hmmm.. in RSL website they suggested RSL Classic & No.1 is made by A Grade goose feather, and RSL No.2 / Silver Feather made by B Grade Goose feather. I guess you can tell by the look of it. However, doesn't matter which brand, the speedy of the shuttlecocks is depending on the weights. If you brought a speed "80" 5.3g it will be much heavier than speedy "78" 5.1g, nothing much to do with feathers.
The feel of RSL Classic vs No.1 can be differentiated quite easily. The Classic has better durability and maintains it's flight more consistently imo
Yes, i do agree with you. for the price and the quality. I will go for RSL Classic rather then RSL No.1.
Actually, I tried No.1 because Classic ran out of stock...but the difference is clear. No way I'm reverting back to No.1. However, I heard lots of good word from Hi Qua, so I might try their top 2 shuttles to size them up.
Well, RSL Tourney Classic is the best I agree and I've also been using it for years while experimenting with other shuttle brands in between.
