    MS#1 - Lee Chong Wei
    MD#1 - Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong
MS#2 - Wong Choong Hann (Most likely)
    MD#2 - Fairuz/Zakry (Most likely)
MS#3 - Muhammad Hafiz Hashim (If Wong Choong Hann not MS#2, then he MS#2)
Reserve MS - Kuan Beng Hong (Most likely)
Reserve MD - Mak Hee Chun/Tan Wee Kiong or Hoon Thien How/Ong Soon Hock

with your MS at the grand old age of 27, 33 & 27. not exactly looking good for the future, is it? the average age of these 3 will be 30 in a few month's time, better enter the veteran t'ment if MAS wanted to win anything.

Danes way of training is totally different than the Malaysians. But age does not matter if you are experienced and you take good care of your body.

It's different case with (most) Europeans.
This year, at the age of 33, Peter able to beat LD. Could Dato LCW do the same thing at that age?
Also this year, at the age of 34/32 respectively, Lars/Jonas won AE, while KKK/TBH, well, you surely remember.;)

it's basically the same personnel & lineup as in 2008 Thomas Cup..they're gonna try one more time and hope luck will be on their side this time, playing @ home..

Yeah...it is exactly the same as 2008 Thomas Cup, where Malaysia lost 2-3 to China.
    If only :

LCW can beat Lin Dan again
Fuzzy can beat Guo/Xu instead of Guo/Xie this time
KKK/TBH turn the tables to beat Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng

Can they do it at home?

    ^^what could have been...and what could be..^^

CHN could feature the young Chai Biao & Zhang Nan against Fuzzy-wuzzy pair instead of GuoZD & Xu Chen this time around...
Looking back, imo, MAS lost the tie, in the 2008 TC, when KKK & TBH failed to win against FHF & CY and lost in straight games..that lost, after LCW's win over LD, probably deflated the entire MAS TC camp..

Yeah...it was KKK/TBH's loss that affected the whole MAS camp, and Hafiz was trembling when it was him who decides the final score. And he lost in straight games too.

Ya...it is already over, what would have happened should KKK/TBH have won, we can speculate forever. Will Fuzzy still win?

Anyway, I don't think Fuzzy can repeat their 2008 TC performance, although I really hope these two can prove my low expectation of them wrong. :D But no matter what, they will forever remain a yoyo pair. They can be better than Mak/Tan, Lim/Chan or Hoon/Ong, but they also can be much worse:D

Malaysia's Thomas Cup Team Line Up (Not yet confirmed, but source from The Star)

    MS # 1 - Lee Chong Wei
    MD # 1 - Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong
    MS # 2 - Wong Choong Hann
MD # 2 - Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari-Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif
    MS # 3 - Muhammad Hafiz Hashim
Reserve MS - Tan Chun Seang
Reserve MD - Hoon Thien How-Ong Soon Hock

Frankly, as you guys already know, I'm disappointed with the line-up. However, this line-up can be a slight challenge. Good luck.

I would disagree with this even more... I think Choong/Lee are well past their time and we should field new faces like Mak Hee Chun. How about Mak Hee Chun-Tan Boon Heong :D I think Choong/Lee has negative record against Mak/Tan too... they lost to them twice this year before beating them once.
