Hi Ti10 lovers. Actually, I'm an armortec lovers, but after reading reviews of Ti10, I bought one. Some people say Ti10 is a little head heavy, with bp 290-300, although the writing on the shaft say "head light'. All my armortec bp are around 286-290. Bp of Ti10 w/ string & original grip become 290 (string bg66 add 10 to bp), but putting overgrip (prince microtac, full length) makes bp less 16. Bp becomes 274 w/ string & overgrip. To raise bp, I have to cut the overgrip. Only 1/3 is used & 60% of handle is covered ( I hold my racket at the end of handle) & put tape on the upper side of frame. the bp become 284. I agree to you all Ti10 lovers, It's a great racket.. but if only.. Yonex put g-force Ti on top of the frame so the bp become 290 (with original grip & without string. It would be the best racket.... for me
Which AT are u using? All of my AT empty racket, let's say at least 20 of them which i have measured, including Old 300,new 500,old 700,new 700,700 ltd,800de,800of,900T,900P,some of them few pieces, none of them are less than 290mm.Ranging from the head lightest 292mm(which differs on each piece),old 700 3UG5 to 700 ltd 4UG5 at 316mm.I believe it should be around 310 also for the 3UG5.Empty racket, not strung,no grip. While TI10,each of generations differs in balance point.1st gen is around 286-290mm,2nd gen is around 293-295mm,3rd gen is around 286-290mm. So,ti,as they have ti-mesh on 3-9o'clock position to maintain the balance,as it said, does not necessarily need the power armor system(the long wrapping titanium on the head). But of course,if u want the best racket,custom-made racket for u,go to japan n order one racket with most of the technology features provided there.Be sure of bringing some money though..=P
I have at300 4UG5, at500 3UG5, at700 3UG5 (all are old colour), & at600 4UG5. You're right, an armortec w/ string & original grip under thin overgrip has 290-292 bp. If w/ string & original grip, bp is around 300-304. But, if original grip is damaged & discarded, then replaced by replacement grip (thick), bp can be 286. It hapens to my at700. My ti10 is 3rd gen. I forgot to measure bp in empty condition. W/ string, bp is 290. Add overgrip, bp becomes 274. I prefer 283-286 for a better defense & still a powerful smash.
Well yes if u applied additional or replacement grip...but the proper way to know,is to first measure the empty racket. No string, with original grip, covered by plastic layer. Of course if the the original grip is damaged,u can try applying a preferably thin replacement grip.To maintain the original BP.
I noticed that you have at least 20 rackets. Wow... which one do you like most? I also have arc7, ns8000 (old colour), musclepower limited & wilson K-smash. I love my at700. Your at900t, how is it? compared to at700??
No,i dont have MP LTD and Wilson K-smash.MP99 yeap.Wilson,i never had one. 900T,compared to AT700..i prefer the 900P=old 700>900T>700new>700ltd.IMO,though..
at900P is your most preferable racket? More people recommend at900T then at900P, that's why I ask you about at900T, but maybe I should consider at900p. Thanks.
Well, that really differs on the style of play. There are times that i enjoyed playing with the 900T,especially when playing with my friends that is good in rallies. But most of the time,900P is my preferred one.Built for attacking games.
900P is more easy to use than 900T. If you got what it takes to use 900T, go right ahead. Most comfortable racquet for me right now is AT700.
I also use at700, mostly. But recently, i bought Ti10 & i actually like this racket because of better maneuveravility. But the head is too light compared w/ at700. I need spare racket to replace the first racket (when the grip is wet) i use in a game. That's why I wish for a Ti10 with a heavier head. Can you point a racket w/ that spec? No brand limitation.
hey bro Smichz ,I think the answer is mp100 cause mp 100 is similiar with ti 10 but with heavier head.both are my favorit racket.
To u yes perhaps,u love the extreme rackets. But for most of people,2U MP100 is too hard to handle.Haha..3U,then it's a different story.
I've sold my mp99 & I've tried my friend's mp100. Didn't like both. I prefer my at700. What is DC brand?
