The Grip that goes under over grips?

    hi, i have an apacs racket

    the racket came apacs super pu grip so i ripped off the original one and now i have no more apacs super pu grips

    so then now i wrap my yonex supergraphs over the apacs super pu

    but the apacs super pu has broke off and ripped so now i need a new grip

    so what is a good grip, i guess an undergrip?

    You can use a basic grip like the Karakal PU Super Grip..or try towel grip:rolleyes:

    karakal pu supergrip is my favorite replacement grip.

    i believe you are looking for a replacement grip. just search around, it should be common in a tennis store around where you live, i suppose.

    Why not just buy more Apacs PU grip :rolleyes:. If not then $6 for a karakal grip isn't that bad if it's not gonna wear out especially under a overgrip.

    As far as I'm aware there is no such thing as an 'undergrip'. I'm in a similar situation as I've looked for a similar product. I currently use overgrips for their convenience but personally prefer the feel of a replacement grip such as a Karakal PU grip for example. However, I find replacement grips frustrating as everytime they need replaced the sticky backing tends to either leave a heavy residue on the wooden handle and /or remove wooden slinters from the handle, whereas with an overgrip it simply unravels whenever it needs replaced. Interestingly, Yehlex UK sell something called gauze grip (below). Although it is designed as an overgrip, I've seen a few people at my old club use it to build up layers before adding their final layer.
