    BG88Ti

I was in Japan last weekend and was fortunate enough to go to a couple of badminton shops (Windsor and Wembley) both are located in Shibuya but has branches all over Tokyo. I bought some strings (those that are not that readily available here in Manila) ie BG88Ti, BG75Ti, BG65Ti. They are more or less in the same price range with the BG88Ti slightly more expensive. The BG88Ti came out to be around US$6.80 per piece. The guy in the store who said he has been playing the game for 10 years highly recommend the BG65 and the BG65Ti :)

    Emmy

There is nothing wrong with Luxis but in general and in comparison with the products with the competition the prices are more expensive in Luxis than lets say emmy and rose. I prefered Rose myself as emmy sometimes have stock available but is reluctant to sell (i brought my racket from them and found out it was cheaper in Rose). This was the case when i tried to purchase CBG100. At Rose i got the guy to get the whole box of strings out and he even let me choose which colour of strings i wanted. Sometimes you could even ask to have things cheaper when you brought alot of stuff.

i find that getting good service from Rose depends on luck. sometimes when i find a sales in a good mood, i get good service.

Luxis' service is always good. and Mr. Ng gives genuine and knowledgeable advice if you seek for it. unfortunately, the price is high for specially imported items. you do need to bargain a little.

as my father only stops by in HK for a day once in a while, i do not want him going across the whole hong kong island just to buy me some strings.. plus he will be taking public transportation and his feet.. he'd get it for me but its not convienent.
nothing about the service or the price..
