The shortened grip is like an island in no man's land. This island can be placed anywhere along the handle so that you get the most comfortable grip.
You will find that it will be more airy and almost non-slippery.
Try it and let us know.
taneepak!! wah... feel so honoured to have ur reply

yes, i thought of that too. i know tt lin dan does something similar right? by the way, should i layer the wood with a PVC tape or overgrip first? i did try with a karakal PU grip, cut short about an inches before the shock cap. it felt horrible to me though. probably i would go try and give a field report soon...

hey man i sweat like mad too. i play tennis and there is this grip called the "tourna tac" and it absorb sweat very good, and it's fairly durable. you should give it a try. the only down side is that it's only available in white.

I got mine as a generic from W&D - basically a small, porous cushion that lets powdered resin through onto the hand. I'm told they are very "old-skool". Can be found here.

I have the same experience. Try some of the Prince overgrips. They are quite sweat absorbent eg. Maxtac etc

I remember having to change yonex super grap every game, and klipper overgrip every session. You should try the Nano replacement grip from Racket Expert. It dries out my hand so much, it's almost irritating at the beginning of a match, but as the match goes on, it keeps my hand nice and dry.

Having been sent a bin bag full of grips with the T2 shipment, I will echo any and all praise for the RK 1.9 mm Nano grips - huge tack from the get-go and it doesn't care how sweaty your hand gets.

    i have sweaty palms too.
my grip gets wet when playing but not to the extent that i have problems gripping the racket. to ensure that the grip is fairly dry the next day, i open up my racket bag when i get home and make sure that the handles are pointing outwards (so that they can air dry).

btw, i use yonex supergrap. probably going to try out RKEP overgrips soon since Mr Dink loves them!

Hi Guys... I found a simple way which seems to suit me.

Before going for a game of badminton, I wash my right fore-arm (i'm a right-handler) with anti-grease dish-washing liquid, until it's squeaky-clean. It seems to cut like 50% of my sweat. Head & Shoulder shampoo seems to work too, but not as good as dish-washing liquid.

Try it. There's no harm, except for those people with sensitive skin.

You can try using the grip powder which I saw LD and TH uses. It helps in a way.
