What kind of replacement grips will be good for me? I don't mind changing often, but I just want something that allow me to have a good grip of my handle. Or maybe the "tying method is wrong" ? Please advise...
actually, i have been buying karakal PU for most of my rackets. but sometimes, the sweat just pour and the grip still gets pretty wet inside...
What is it that you find "wrong" about towel grips again? If Karakal Super PU doesn't get the job done then I'm afraid only towel grips will. From my experience I only need two similar racquets with towel grips that I rotate around while I wait for the sweat accumulated in the grip to evaporate.
yep... i think that would be the best idea... or maybe i should just get a wrist band... damn my sweaty arms...
I used YY towel grip before and I find that I can't feel the racket... Maybe I'm too used to have a hard handle surface.
You can try removing the original leather grip off the wooden handle and apply the towel grip straight onto the bare wooden handle. It worked perfectly for me.
idea man! pretty girl with low cut halter-neck, tennis skirt, big eyes, long hair, long legs... i think i may have more problem concentrate.... hahaha
probably i have to go find... i know Chiau Beng @ Queensway sells this. but i don't really like his pricing...
probably. i think i decide on two options : buy an extra BS9 and also get half a dozen of super-thick wrist band.
Heh - it isn't really a burden for me any more. I automatically go to the bag as soon as a game finishes and give the resin pad a few squeezes.
How about having a type of "island" grip? Just measure the width of your clenched fist, which is about 3" to 4", and simply fashion a grip of this length and place it in the middle of the wooden handle. The shortened grip is like an island in no man's land. This island can be placed anywhere along the handle so that you get the most comfortable grip. You will find that it will be more airy and almost non-slippery. Try it and let us know.
i must go recee for this resin. or maybe i should just change a new arm... hahaha... resin... any particular brand?
taneepak!! wah... feel so honoured to have ur reply yes, i thought of that too. i know tt lin dan does something similar right? by the way, should i layer the wood with a PVC tape or overgrip first? i did try with a karakal PU grip, cut short about an inches before the shock cap. it felt horrible to me though. probably i would go try and give a field report soon...
i do not know about replacement grips but you can try the Yonex dry grap overgrip...worked pretty well for me
