i just bought the racket last week .. seriously nothing good bout this racket maybe the string/tension is not suitable with da racket .. or maybe i need time to master this racket .. so my question is .. what is the best string/tension for this racket ..? btw , which/what string/tension is the best for power clears and smashes ? less tension provide more power is it ?
There is no magic number for string tension. Please consider this, most pro use tension 30lbs (or above) but that does not mean for us we can smash harder with 30 lbs too. In fact for a beginer, he/she can smash better at 24lbs compare to 30lbs. So you need to try different tension to get the idea where you are at, it really depends on your strength and speed and timing as well as technique.
True, only if (in comparison) for less advance player. On the other hand, for an advance player he/she will loose power with lower tension.
Many approach to make racket a bit head heavy : - Put lead tape in the frame - Use thick string - Add string protector pad to the grommets
Ehm good ideas. just realised my AT800D feels heavier thats because the string is jumbo big 0.74mm. BTW whats the string protector? How does it look like?
What I meant with string protector is like this : Don't put too many of them, or your racket will be too head heavy I't better to weigh the racket, measure the balance, weigh the pads, and do the math first (to calculate the desired BP)
the K brave isn't as easy to master as it seems i've been using it for a month and it's definitely a doubles racket i suggest using 28 tension with it. that's just me if you still use the racket.. my reply to the thread is soo late anyway ). oh and, i noticed it's head is a few centimeters smaller than common isometric rackets.
