ive been looking around for the last while on wich machine to buy. i was looking at an eagnas combo 810 on ebay and a silent parnter crump. im leaning towards the eagnas because its alot cheaper before custom taxes then the sp. ive strung a few rackets with my friends eagnas st250. if any1 has suggestions let me no. my budget is around 600 and would like to stick to a crank machine.

To be honest, I was in the same position last year but chose silent partner purely because of customer service. They were great, answered all my questions and were very friendly... about the opposite of eagnas. Be aware that if you don't buy direct from the eagnas distributor in California they will not help you with any problems.

Indeed, SP Tennis has great customer service. The products are very decent for the price.

I use the standard ones turned around ok, it's hard to thread through shared grommets but it does work. The badminton specific shoulder supports come with the opus but is extra for any other machine... $60 I think.

Just as a note, I bought the crump with the intention of eventually upgrading to the wise head. I've used drop weights before and while they are more accurate than cranks, they are clumbersome and I just don't like using them.

    Personal preference of course.
