My Yangyang nanogold 8000 has a crack midway up on one side of the frame due to stringing at 24lbs. Pictures below show the damage

Other side of the frame shows no obvious cracking etc

Is this fixable? I wouldnt mind if I had to drop string tension all they way down, this could just be used as a spare practice racquet.

i had a crack like yours but only runs halfway to the grommet and stops there. it still broke after stringing it to 23lbs. this racket would be useful for low tensions

you could probaly repair it, but the crack looks quite bad, a freind of mine had a similar crack, and a week later, it was broke completely.
    Best just retire it.:)

I think, generally speaking, it's a bit more complicated than that if you're looking to do a good repair. There are some companies that offer racket repair services at relatively reasonable prices though.

just string it up low and give it to someone who doesn't need high tension! other than that, that racquet is done!

Best advise it to purchase a new racket.

I agree with the others that you're better off getting a cheaper racket (like apacs) as a back up as opposed to trying to fix it.

That said, there are companies that will actually add more graphite then heat it up to fill and bond to the existing graphite. The cost IMO is not worth it, I'd rather put that money to a new racket.
