It's doesn't look obviously like a fake. Maybe it's a special edition racquet by Yonex for the region, kind of like how they have Yonex Gold in some European countries. It doesn't make much sense for someone to make a fake "Ti 60" racquet.

I'm looking at his racket now. The bottom of the frame is round I'd thought it would be like the Cabs, the serial number is unclear and its stamped and dont look like any other yonex serial number. But... comparing the base cap to my Yonex Ti SP they looke exactly the same and he has got a proper case for it, the writing is clear as well but I've never heard of this tacket! btw my Yonex Aerotus 77 dont have a serial number only a holographic sticker does that mean its a fake?

Why would you think it is fake? The Ti 60 Pro (I believed) was manufactured for the European market (Mag? Denmark has a few of these models).

Hon_bris, you need to show us the butt cap and the cone with the logo and serial number.

ZXZ, wrt Aerotus 77, it is probably an older model before Yonex started the serial number procedure.

Check www.bbeshop.com for a link to an article on how to spot fake Yonex racquets.

It's not a fake racquet :). Some yonex distributors do carry however i have only seen the titanium pro line of racquets on in asian distributors merchandise list.

He'll be happy to hear that, we tried to take a picture of the serial number but it was too faint to show up it just said 1001SP and the end cap looks exactly like the one I have on my Yonex Ti Swing power. I also brought a Forza racket today, was suprised to see it in my small local sports shop, talked to the owner who said he saw the line of rackets and thought they played nicely and looked nice so he put them in stock been available for about three months.

Heard discussions in some chinese badminton web forums about this "Ti Pro 60", too. However, not too many ppl can figure out whether it's fake or not. But, almost all the discussion have these in common:

    1. Got this racket from south cities in China.
    2. Compare to other popular Yonex models, this one is relatively cheaper.
    3. Tons of worries, after purchase.
    4. Draw tons of replies and debates. :D

Personally, I would rather believe this one is some "rare" models which are limited to be distributed in certain regions. However, if can post a pic about the serial # on the cone, and the cap, that will help more.
