Hi all BC members. Would anyone be able to give some advice on which stringing machine I should purchase and where to acquire one?

I break my strings very often nowadays as I play nearly every day. I am looking for stringing machines specifically designed for badminton rackets.

The machines I am looking at are the Eagnas Easy 3 and the Eagnas St-250. I have searched them up but have found that all the replies are very old, dating back to 2005. Are these machines really as bad as people say? What other options are there? My budget is 300$ - 700$ CAD. Thank you.

You can try Silent Partner. They have an office in Toronto.

    http://www.sptennis.com

    Also:

You can try this Austrian site. Use Babelfish to translate from German.
With the sinking Euro, this is a huge bargain right now. The prices are
also listed with the VAT included. So that means they are 17% cheaper!!
Just email them. They know English.
This is the machine I got:

I actually upgraded the side mounts with Opus Badminton mounts that I
    got from Silent partner.

Shipping was 80 Euros via the postal service. That's about $120 CAN and getting better everyday as the Euro self-destructs. It's still a great deal. It actually only took 4 days to reach Toronto, but customs or whoever took their time processing it for another week..... I never had to pay any duty or GST.

70 plus racquets strung and counting.....

The Opus badminton mounts are a recommended option
as well as flying clamps(Yonex or MyBadmintonStore).

Hi blackvictor: Have you found your badminton stringing machine yet? I've been wondering if I should do the same. Thanks.

SP seems to be clearing their stringing machine inventory and don' have badminton mounting system anymore. Is there any other place that you know of where OPUS might be available with badminton kit. Thanks,

HI BV, I just placed an order with Silent Partner out of the US for their titan700. I think this would be a great choice if you're looking for something outside of a table top. However, if you like that option, you'll notice a few people have suggested buying the WISE2086 for whatever machine you choose as this will give you a far greater accuracy when tensioning your racquet.

I looked at Silent Partner, but the problem that they told me was that they do not have any badminton retrofits so that the racquets won't quite be as stable. Additionally, the clamps would need to be replaced with badminton ones, which really is no big problem.

anyways, keep us updated on what happened! GOOD LUCK!
