    off-spec b.p.

I'm wondering how common it is for head rackets to be off spec, and what is the range of variance from their stated balance point. I have a Metallix 4000 with a b.p. of 295mm even with a Karakal Super PU on! And the stated b.p. is supposed to be 284mm. It does feel good though; maybe Zhou Mi used a similar head-heavy 4000 for those powerful smashes. :D

Sounds really interesting and technical. How do you measure B.P and how is the B.P affecting performance of the racket?

It's not that technical; i only employ a crude test - ie. balance the shaft of the racket on my little finger, and measure the point of balance from the bottom up. I must mention though, that the original grip has been replaced by the Karakal PU, and not overgripped with it.

Strung or unstrung ;) (Should measure unstrung, makes about 10mm difference but best if measured yourself and depends on how far you regripped it)

Strung. It's only a crude test that i employ, relative to the other rackets i have with similar setups.
