hello all... i'm deciding to buy a badminton shoe because i have been using a normal sports shoe and it's not comfortable and not meant for badminton. i am playing more backyard badminton games and sometimes i went to court to play. but since this year i'm entering my school's badminton club, i'm thinking that buying a real badminton shoe is important.

i'm looking for a shoe that affordable, durable, and comfortable. At my local badminton store, they sell shoes with brands like Carlton and Yonex ranging somewhat RM59.90 to RM150
i donno the model number for the shoes, so i'm turning to this forum for help.

I bought a pair of Hitec Adrenalin Pro Xcel about 2 months ago now and i'm totally satisfied with them - it took me about half an hour to get used to the bulkier feel of them since i'd been playing in the old Hitec Squash court shoes but now i wouldn't use anything else - they are very hardwearing, i play about 5/6 times a week and they still look almost new, no loss in cushioning or grip.

i think for shoes there is no distinction of whether you're a beginner or a pro!
it's about the comfort of your feet! so i suggest you get the best there is...

    get the best shoe possible

You can spend money on a good pair of shoes, or you can spend money to
    repair your knee, ankle, etc.

go to a store, try them out. different people have different feet and needs different kind of support. find the one that you like and get it. you will find a lot of shoe brands and model types mentioned thru out the forum.
