I'm pretty much a beginner and I'm not doing any competitive play. I've been playing once a week for a few months now. I play doubles, usually defensive play. Here are my options (hopefully I don't get the names wrong, I'm in a hurry):

    Yonex Nanospeed 100 - $60
    Yonex Armortec 250 - $60
    Yonex Isometric 75 MFLT - $60
    Head Nano Power 500 - $40
    Head Nano Power 650 - $40
Babolat Speeder Series Blue - $65

There are a couple of Black Knight rackets that I saw too but they're oval shaped which I'm trying to avoid. I could possibly also get something from APACS but their cheapest rackets after shipping and string are like $80 and I'd like to avoid paying that unless it's worth it.

Hey, if you play defensive double game, try Babolat speeder Series.. it's a medium flex racket with 285mm bp.. so its all around racket..and 84g very light. I also have Yonex Armortec 250 which is good for offensive play because of the headheaviness but not so good for defend. Other brands you might consider are gosen, apacs, victor.
