    Hi all!

I'm Yvonne (nickname Eve), a 23 year old badminton player from the Netherlands. At the age of 16 I quit jazz ballet and immediately was pushed into playing badminton by my oldest brother; I've loved it ever since. Though I think I'm not that skilled, I am said to be the best of the club (but we only have around 250 players and I lack confidence and perseverance tenacity).

    well... that's about it!

    Nice to meet you all

    xo Eve

    Welcome..

    Welcome to EVEnl!

Seems like a curious switch btw ballet to badminton. You'll see, when you get more advanced in badminton, the two have quite a few things in common... :D

Enjoy your time here and visit often! It's a great resource..:D

You can check the Places to Play subforum here if you want to find places to play in your own area.

    Have fun!

    Welkom!

    Ballet and badminton? Sure! :)
Taufik has done pirouettes after backhand smashes.

Sounds like your ascent in your club was astoundingly quick. Congratulations! Do you have aspirations at the national level? Best of luck .... and don't forget to share your secrets with the rest of us!;)

(seems so strange for ctjcad not to be doing all the initial greetings on the introduction thread. He's too busy watching the Thomas Cup!)

I've decided to help ctjcad and save him a bit of time.. :D Lucky guy, having a heaven in Malaysia :D
Definitely, badminton has a sort of grace that is in common with many forms of dance... in short, it requires a lot of finesse and grace compared with other sports.

Agree with Fidget ya, good luck with your training and keep working hard!
