After seeing CHN awesome performance over MAS, honestly, do you think INA can take one game from CHN to avoid a whitewash?;)

it was MAS which was underperformance...so INA might win, at least not beaten badly as MAS :D, perhaps 3-2 or 3-1 for CHN...:)

I agree with you that for whatever reason, MAS did not give a good fight while CHN was on her 'A' game. The final has not been played yet, who knows if INA will win one game or even win the whole darn thing;) But looking at CHN lineup against INA, I feel the odds is against INA. CHN 3 INA 1 possible, from MD1 but seeing Fu/Cai played, man, INA MD1 better be on top OLY08 form.;) One thing we can look forward to, INA vrs CHN is always fun, at least we have the 2 great teams in the final to watch

I think Kido/ Setiawan may still get 1 point for INA from MD1... But I dunno who else we can depend on??? Maybe Christian Hadinata can conjure some surprises in the MD2???

I think Taufik today was playing well, but seeing how Lin Dan ate LCW alive... I can't see any way of Taufik to beat him.... So sad but this is the fact....

Can Sony be the surprise MS2 against Chen Jin, Chen Long or Bao Chun Lai and get a point for Indonesia?

I think SDK is already recovered from his injury and get the thumbs up to play.
Honestly with the performance displayed by SS last night, I think Indonesia should put back SDK back in as MS2.

I just got this feeling that TH is going to take the 1st point for INA against LD on Sunday.

I know it's almost impossible, but TH is like Park Sung Hwan to LD. Both PSH and TH are LD's bogeyman, he seems to struggle whenever playing them. LD doesn't like playing against hard smashing people. (LCW is hard smashing but to a lesser degree compared to TH and PSH).

I think I'll watch the first quarter final match between PSH and LD again just for the heck of it because it was a close encounter.

TH have to play superbly to the level of almost perfect game skill in defending LD's smash, controlling the net play and counterattacking with cross smash and trick serve to be able to beat LD.

I know that 70% will be the indonesian to lose to china, but i do hope at least it would be an entertaining, breath taking long matches between them.I'm in china,n i don't like it when the CCTV5 commentators said like they said yesterday n days before,"China won the game so easily".Making the viewers feels like china is unbeatable that kind of feelings.

Watching TH playing against Kenichi, TH seems to get his performance better and better during the competition, as TH himself said after the match. LCW made a lot of unforced error when playing against LD, LCW was not himself. I think TH will be able to fight LD in the final. Honestly it will be hard for TH to win but it is not impossible.

Interesting to see INA strategy by playing Nova/Alvent. To me it looks a good choice. Both player are experienced and could be the unexpected winning factor for INA team.

INA chances is about 25-30% at best. Got to take both MDs....Kindra is 50-50 with CY/FHF but the 2nd INA pair is a scratch pair...hmmmm.

Simon never have good luck against CJ. Much rather field Sony, but if he's still injured...arrgh.

As for 3rd MS...go ahead and field Hayom. He might not be tested and experienced but there's no better time to test they young man's mettle. He got the skills to do it.

i think (or hope) it will be China 3-1 Indonesia.

the highest chance for a point from INA will be from Kindra. while not at their very peak at around olympics times, they still look pretty sharp.

the next chance will be from TH against LD. very tall order. TH isn't the same TH 5 yrs back, and LD is as fit and fast.

but beyond that, MS2, MD2, MS3 will be CHN's without much problem.

I think INA may get 2 points from MD. But will lose all 3 MS points.

Better chances would be to swap TH and Hayom (MS1 and MS3)..... too bad it can't be done :p
