    Yes, its acceptable... the shuttlers must be safe considering the violence in Thailand recently... :(

    It's true. The Thailand Open was cancelled a couple of weeks ago by the Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) because they were concerned for the safety of the international players and staff because of the Red Shirt protests in Bangkok.
    I think it was a little premature, but I guess they decided to err on the side of caution rather than taking any risks.
    It's too bad for Chan/Lim and the other defending champions, but at least they get to be the defending champions for another year.

    very dissapointed.... was arranging all my business trip, so i am able to be in bkk during that period.... :(
