. saw it at smash sports @ simei east point. its lead tapes specially made for racquets. $6.50 for the smaller stripes $8+ for the bigger pieces. u can try queensway smash sports too, they might just have it.
Alamak.... they meant electrical tape over the lead tape which already has adhesive What were u expecting?
Most of the racquet shops should have it. I tried it once and my conclusion is not to mess with the original specifications.
I bought around 7.50, and i cut it into /4 piece and put it on the top flame of the racket like Lin Dan !
You can use copper wires or thin wires and tie it at the top of your racket head in between the grooves - MacGyver style. Justin.
yea..mc gyver style.. i did thot of that, but then, it's kinda dangerous to tie it there...with the impact of smashing and swinging, over time it'll get loose and fly off !! so,i rather stick to the tape.. btw, anyone can help me to buy in SG and pass to me in JB, that is if anyone is coming over... oh, prolly can pass to my bad friends in sg..i meet them every week .
Don't think it will fly off, if you wrap it enough times around the frame (usually a couple only), I think it will stay. Besides, you should be hitting the shuttle on the string bed And besides, you are not exposed to lead poisoning - plus point! Justin.
hahaha lead poisoning ??? we'll be already poisoned by the lead in the electrical wires !!! charged lead btw...
yup..any kinda of slight heavy tape will do..not the electrical insulation...too light. i used the surgical tape..not sure if it's the correct name.. it's the cloth type -similar to hand-plast ( handi-plast is more to plastic ). and it works.. the problem is,it picks up ,well everything...dust,my cat's hair and so on... so looks dirty...
