I don't think this makes any difference to WC (except the obvioud seeding & draw changes). The players are the same, just lower ranked. Whether or not it makes them less match fit, I doubt - The top players all have good experience & match sharpness should not be unduly affected, I am sure they will have adequate sparring at their training It does of course as you point out give none CHN players to reach personal high rankings.....
arent that is tougher? like cai/fu might meet one of the top 4 as early as 1/32 or 1/16? it is kinda disadvantage right?
Surely if they meet them earlier they play "easier" opponents in later rounds though? Kinda advantage right?
Wang Xin and WSX will lost a lot of points since they are winner of MAS Open and Philippine open also there is no Thai Open this year. Remember that there is quota ofr each country to play WC...

Only one game per day I am sure hey are fi enough for that, and as I say if they beat all the tough opponents then they should get an "easy" opponent in the final. I just think to win a tournament you have to be the best for that week, I know people perform differently on different days, but overall the best players win. A good draw for a weaker player can get them good results (eg QF, even SF), but to win you have to beat the best.
Assuming Fu/Cai are seeded 8, there is a possibility that they will meet Kido/Setiawan (seeded 3) in QF and Jung/Lee (seeded 2) in SF and Koo/Tan (seeded 1) in the finals. Wouldn't it be easier if they are seeded 4 where they only meet the top 4 twice? Thing gets worse if they are seeded 9-16. We all know great champions have to beat the best players in order to win but reaching the finals with lesser effort is usually (not always) an advantage. Don't you think so?
To me, I think it can be a dangerous idea . To me, LYB is too confident. Why make his players face stronger players in earlier rounds at the WC? To me, it can be a dangerous idea. .
what i see i what i see is: they skipped singapore and indonesia open because of the china super league they have to and its probably tough for them for the 1st year 2nd year may see some changes if/when bwf interrupts on performance wise for wc, playing in the china super league mostly thursday, saturday and sunday, could be affecting their training and a good sight seeing and get together on other days travelling i suppose i maybe wrong they may be better in coming wc on the long run, badminton for sure for china pro and the up and coming will be money motivated that is, they are getting €$€$ i suppose? overall if it works is good for china badminton on the point lost while missing in action china players have tougher draw for sure ideally, meeting tough opponent in the early stage is not a good idea but if you win you face less tougher opponent as you progress, thats good if you win first but considering more games played because of the super league they may have a good pick up in wc
CHina players are participating in China Badminton League before WC, different from previous years. So add that to the fatigue factor
As I mentioned in another thread, the ranking as at 29-04-2010 (the last Thursday of April) which is the 17th week of 2010 will be used for the eligibility to WC. MS - LD, CJ, BCL & CL are at 2, 3, 8 & 10 positions respectively. CL is out as only maximum of 4 players in top 4 can be entered. http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=1435&category=472 WS - WYH, WX, WL, WSX & JYJ occupy the top 5. According to the Final List of Qualifiers, JYJ is not included. http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=1435&category=473 MD - GZD/XC, FHF/CY & ZN/CB are at 5, 8 & 15th. FHF/CY will be seeded 8th. http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=1435&category=474 WD - MJ/WXL, DJ/YY & ZYL/CS are the top 3. http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=1435&category=475 XD - HHB/YY, ZB/MJ & TJM/ZYW are 4, 5 & 9. HHB/YY will be seeded 4. With ZB no longer in the CHN squad, TJM/ZYW will be seeded 8th I believe. http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=1435&category=476 From the rankings, only MD & XD are slightly affected.
