    Hello BCs,

I need to re-string a Yonex Boron 200 for my friend this weekend, he asks for 24lb x 26lb which is the tension he uses right now on his Nano . However from what I recall, those racquets made in 90s usually strung at 18 - 22 lb. Anyone happens to know if Boron can take up to 26lbs?

    Thanks

i wouldnt even string it. its a classic and its easier for you to tell your friend just to keep it. but if you insist in stringing it i would not go higher than 19lbs and see if he still want to string it (most likely not) :D

I agree, they are delicate anyhow & 26lb is asking for trouble.

Preserve it for him by refusing or string at a level in the "safe" range as you described.

And if your friend wishes to sell, he has a buyer here......!
