http://www.badminton.ca/tournamentcalendar_event.aspx?id=4567&calendarid=28 (all the infos there)..sponsored by Badminton BC..poster below..cooler, you should go and help support the event..
btw, the dates of the U.S. Open and Canada Open need to be updated on the front 2010 Tournament page..
i would love to play in the qualifying round but would like to avoid the maindraw (incase i get their by sheer luck) anyone else here planning on signing up?
grand total of 105 entries into mens singles, with only 64 spots into the main draw its going to be a tournament just to get into the tournament. not looking forward too going through qualifications it will be hard for sure.
..i have a feeling those extra 41 qualifiers just want to qualify so they can have a chance to play (and get beaten) against Taufik..one of those "once in a lifetime opportunity"..
Well, it would be quite an experience playing against Taufik, who knows, they might be able to pull an upset... But just the chance to play against a top 10 player will be great....
Anyone planning on going to see this tourney? Madbad? Cooler? etc? Its got a strong field of international players that we usually never get to see. I am contemplating whether I will go or not.
